Holder Calls for Automatic Voter Registration, Dismisses Seriousness of Voter Fraud

The truly astonishing thing about our current government is the unique ability to say th

ings that are both untrue and that run contrary to what Americans know for a fact. If I pointed up and said, “That’s down,” I would hope people would have the good sense to call me out on it. But for Eric Holder, spouting nonsense that runs afoul of even the most basic common sense is a bold and brazen game that he seems to enjoy.

On Tuesday, the disgraced and treasonous attorney general claimed that America should register all eligible voters and that there is no voter fraud occurring in America.

I could have sworn he lived in D.C., not Mars…

In a speech in Boston on Tuesday, Holder expressed his desire to see a complete and automatic voter registration of every eligible American coupled with increased emphasis on technology. He stated,

“Modern technology provides ways to address many of the problems that impede the efficient administration of elections.”

I’m sure Holder would love to see a virtual world that can be prone to manipulation. In a world that blends technology with identities, it’s impossible for most of us to make a purchase on a lesser-known website without at least some lingering, worrisome concern of identity theft. Why, in God’s name, would we trust government databases to facilitate elections?

The Democrats have been pushing for years to tinker with the election process. While the process should be relatively simple, government, in its usual fashion, has augmented the problem, studied it, spent money on it and made the whole process much more complicated than is necessary.

Holder then laughably claimed that in-person voter fraud does not exist in any meaningful numbers. He said,

“You can’t get groups of sufficient numbers of people that are willing to face that possibility and try to influence an election, which is why in-person voter fraud simply doesn’t exist to the extent that some on the right have said that it does.”

Really? I’m not sure Holder, of all people, should take that stance…

In April, conservative activist and thorn-in-liberals’-side James O’Keefe demonstrated just how easy in-person voter fraud is. In a hilarious and shocking video, a young man who works for O’Keefe’s Project Veritas walked into Eric Holder’s voting precinct, told them he was Eric Holder, and was offered Holder’s ballot. It was just that simple.

The young man, after giving Holder’s name and address was offered the ballot. Rather than sign for it, which would be illegal, the young man suggested that he should show some ID, in compliance with D.C. law, to which the poll worker replied,

“You don’t need it. It’s all right. As long as you’re in here, you’re on our list, and that’s who you say you are, you’re okay.”

The young man insisted that he show ID, and said he would go to his car and return with the ID, and then laughably said, “I’ll be back Faster than you can say Furious.”

Project Veritas has also created too-many-to-count videos of them doing the same thing in states like Vermont and New Hampshire. This is not an isolated incident; the Project Veritas workers could literally vote dozens of times.

In fact, salaried employees of Obama for America were caught numerous times showing undercover reporters how to vote more than once.

My point? Voter fraud runs rampant as Democrats call voter ID laws “racist” and call for tweaking of the election process. And yet, Holder has the nerve to pretend like it’s not a problem.

If Holder is interested in defending the integrity of our voting process, he should start with the most fundamental opportunities for malfeasance. If he’s serious, he should encourage voter ID laws and look to close the glaring holes in security surrounding the sacred institution. However, I do expect Holder or other Democrats to ever lift a finger to remedy this egregious situation as voter fraud seems to benefit Democrats greatly.

Holder’s sleaziness makes my skin crawl and actually makes me long for the days of crooked Democrats like Joe Kennedy who, by comparison, seemed like a better class of criminal than Holder.
